Photobiomodulation

What is photobiomodulation?

Photobiomodulation, also called red light therapy or low-level laser, uses red or infrared light that can penetrate the body. It stimulates the mitochondria, the energy powerhouses of cells, which then produce more energy to allow the cells to function better.

How does a transcranial photobiomodulation session take place?

During the sessions, the user wears a photobiomodulation helmet that he places on his forehead. The device emits this specific light that penetrates the skull and stimulates the brain. The sessions are done at home and only last a few minutes.

How does photobiomodulation act on the brain?

  • Increased cellular energy
  • Production of new neurons
  • Reduction of inflammation
  • Protection against oxidative stress
  • Regulation of neurotransmitters
  • Improved cerebral circulation

This therapy strengthens the brain's resilience and its ability to adapt, in particular through neuroplasticity, which optimizes neuronal connections.

What cognitive progress with photobiomodulation?

  • Increased learning capacity
  • Increased concentration
  • Increased mental clarity
  • Initiatives encouraged
  • Optimized memory
  • Better quality sleep
  • Improved emotional balance

    Global developmental delay

My 9 year old boy has made great progress in just 3 months.
The effects were visible from the first weeks.
He was not bothered by the non-binding practice.
A big thank you to Julien for his help, his professionalism and above all his humanity.

    Autism Spectrum Disorders

(...) The time it takes to fall asleep has gone from 2/3 hours to less than 20 minutes. He had many nighttime awakenings (at 3 or 4 in the morning, without falling back to sleep) and would wake up at 5:30 at the latest anyway. He now sleeps straight through and wakes up at 7 at the earliest. This has completely changed the whole family atmosphere. Reading has become more fluent, as have fine motor skills. Although he was previously eager to get in touch with other children, we have seen this desire grow stronger. (...)
